Universal sizing accommodates waist sizes from 25″ to 68″, and a sturdy 15″ posterior panel and lateral support panels help prevent any abnormal movements of the lower spine.

① A Cochrane Review found that lumbar supports are “effective for improving functional status” in patients with acute, subacute and chronic low back pain based on 3 high quality trials with a total of 410 patients (Cochrane Rev. CD001823, 2008).
② A 2009 clinical trial studying 197 patients with subacute low back pain found significantly more LSO users, 60% versus 40%, totally weaned off medication by trial’s end (Spine. 2009;34930:p215).
